A New Name, A Broader Mission
We're evolving from just Marketing Ethics to Workplace Wellness
Over the past several months, this newsletter has explored the fast-changing world of AI in marketing, examining the ethical implications, highlighting responsible practices, and offering guidance to help you navigate this transformative technology with confidence and care.
But as the newsletter has evolved, something deeper has become increasingly clear: The ethical use of AI isn’t just a marketing issue, it’s a workplace issue.
As AI tools flood into every department, from HR to finance to operations, another story is emerging—one of overload, confusion, blurred boundaries, and rising stress.
That’s why I’m expanding the focus of this newsletter to include AI-induced technostress and the broader topic of AI’s impact on workplace well-being.
The Newsletter Is Evolving
Beginning with this week’s issue, you will see the change…
Old Name: AI Marketing Ethics Digest
New Name: AI Workplace Ethics & Wellness
This change reflects a larger vision—helping leaders, teams, and professionals use AI responsibly while protecting mental health, setting clear boundaries, and fostering ethical cultures in AI-powered workplaces.
Why This Matters:
AI is no longer a niche tool. It’s embedded in how we work, communicate, and make decisions.
Technostress is real. Without thoughtful integration, AI can amplify burnout, overwhelm, and even resistance.
Ethics go beyond compliance. True responsible AI includes psychological safety, clarity of purpose, and people-first implementation.
What You Can Expect:
Continued insights on AI governance, ethics, and transparency
New content on managing technostress, digital wellness, and change fatigue
Actionable strategies for leaders, marketers, HR pros, and technologists
Occasional deep dives into case studies, frameworks, and tools to support your team
But That’s Not All…
I’m also thrilled to announce the launch of the AI Technostress Institute, a hub of research, training, and tools to help organizations manage the psychological toll of AI in the workplace. From executive training to technostress assessments, the Institute will serve as a resource for HR leaders, managers, and teams navigating this new reality.
TL;DR?
Same newsletter. Same thoughtful, practical voice.
But now with a broader lens and a new name to meet the moment.
I’m so grateful to have you on this journey.
If you’re as committed as I am to shaping an ethical, human-centered future of work, I hope you’ll stick around. And if you know someone else who’d benefit from this expanded focus, please share it with them.
Here’s to thriving in an AI-driven world—ethically and well.
Warmly,
Paul Chaney

The AI Technostress Institute sounds like a much needed resource for organizations trying to keep people at the centre of progress. You always have my support.
All the best in this new direction, Paul! 👍
